Nokia is reportedly working on the next iteration smartphone of the Nokia 8 series. Months before its speculated launch at the Mobile World Conference (MWC) 2020, specifications of the Nokia 8.2 have surfaced on the internet.
Nokia 8.2 is set to get major design and camera upgrades, according to a NokiaPowerUser report. The company is already working on a prototype which has an all-screen display and a pop-up camera.
The report also mentions that Nokia 8.2 will come with 5G-support.Making it the first Nokia smartphone to be compatible with the next-generation network.
Nokia 8.2 will be launch with 5G and 64MP
Nokia 8.2 will have a quad-camera setup at the back. The camera module will be circular in shape like the OnePlus 7T.
Nokia 8.2’s primary camera will have a 64 MP sensor and would use pixel binning. Night Mode will also get an improvement and is said to be better than the Nokia 7.2.
According to first rumor that was tipped to us Nokia 8.2 is planned to arrive by the end of the year with a “unique” front camera solution (probably pop-up) and Snapdragon 7xx series SoC.
The second rumor stated that Nokia Mobile has a Nokia 8.2 prototype with 5G support in development.
That the device should feature a 64MP rear camera and be announced at MWC2020.
Recently we covered two, somewhat, conflicting rumors about the Nokia 8.2 that were floating around. Both rumors had shared some info about the device. Maybe the most important piece of information, the launch date, was different.
Now, Nokia_Anew shared his insights via Twitter. According to his sources, there are two Nokia 8.2 version in the works with 5G support. The 5G version is scheduled for MWC2020. While the regular version should be announced by the end of the year.
In related news, HMD Global recently launched the Nokia 6.2 in India. The smartphone comes in a single 4GB + 64GB variant priced at Rs 15,999.Other specifications of the Nokia 6.2 include a 6.3-inch Full HD+ PureDisplay, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, a 3,500 mAh battery and a triple-camera setup.
